I am the bright star that lies upon your head
I wonder how people's last days would end
I hear cars crashing, but I noticed its just a glass
I see peoples hearts shatter when they land on an empty edge
I want our friendship, delight, and respect to last
I am the bright star that lies upon your head.

I pretend nothing goes wrong in my daily life
I feel his jumping heart every day, and night
I touch his sweaty hands dripping from his and mine
I worry his love to me will be left blind
I cry when problems appear into my fragile life
I am the bright star that lies upon your head.

I understand stars won't shine and last forever
I say "give me the star that will lead me forever"
I dream of him and i eternally together
I try to follow the brightest path ever
I hope that bright star will always lie ahead
